Times are busy, super busy! Most of us need all the energy we can muster up just to keep up. Getting our energy from whole foods to stay healthy will help us to make it through the day! But who has time to prepare food anymore? I enjoy being in the kitchen and cooking, but even I barely have time. That is why I want to share three energy boosting recipes that you can make in no time at all! With recipes like these, you can add or omit to your liking’s, and you do not need to cook any of this, woot-woot!

You have heard it said before that breakfast is the most important meal of the day, but sadly it is also one of the most skipped meals too. By making smoothies, you can prep your greens and fruits in food containers or mason jars so that when you get up, all you have to do is throw everything into the blender! Green Breakfast Smoothie- 1 Serving
1 or 2 hands full of greens like Spinach
½-3/4 cup of fruit (fresh or frozen)
¼ Avocado for creaminess and healthy fat
1 cup Milk or Non-Dairy milk, or other liquid
Add flax seeds or protein powder (plant based)
Fresh ginger, little at a time when starting out

Over Night Oats– No Cooking Required!
1/2 cup Milk or Non-dairy Milk
1/2 cup Oats (gluten free)
1/4-1/2 cup of Yogurt, Greek or Regular or Dairy-free

You can add berries, chia, nuts, fruit, nut butter.
Put oats in the bottom of a 6-8.oz mason jar, pour milk over the oats, layer with fruit and yogurt! Leave overnight and eat in the morning. Overnight Oats is an excellent combo for protein and fiber to keep you full and keep you going. Check out Pinterest for more ideas here.

Energy Bars
Energy bars can be expensive if you are buying them in the store. Make more for less money with recipes like this one and satisfy a sweet tooth.  Mix all ingredients, pat down in a rectangle container, cut and enjoy! This recipe is vegetarian, gluten free, and Paleo! This recipe is also on Pinterest!

• 1/2 cup Honey
