Adrenal fatigue can steal many of your life’s best moments from symptoms like body aches, severe tiredness, irritability, anxiety, trouble concentrating, and much more. It is more than needing a cat nap because no matter how much sleep you get, you always feel tired and never refreshed.
Adrenal fatigue is often misdiagnosed or even brushed off as not being real by some. However, we do know it IS real and it can be reversed! Adrenal fatigue may have been preventing you from enjoying life and being at your best , but it does not have to anymore! You CAN overcome adrenal fatigue naturally, and we are going to show you how! The three ways to beat adrenal fatigue are below.
1. Nutrition: Do’s and Don’ts.
Diet plays a significant role in how you feel and how healthy your adrenals are. Do eat healthy and organic foods when possible. Stay away from caffeine; I know this seems like a hard one if you have depended on caffeine to get you through the day. You can replace sugary caffeine drinks with a healthy green tea so that you are not adding more stress to your adrenals. Also, eliminate processed foods, artificial sugars and food coloring, and foods that cause inflammation (dairy, soy, egg, gluten, nightshades). If adrenal testing indicates there is an adrenal fatigue you may need to take adrenal supportive supplements for awhile. Also, try adding a superfood such as seeds and kale, etc. to your plate at every meal.
2. Reduce Stress.
I know this can sound more complicated than it is, it really can be done. Try reducing stress one step at a time . Start by getting 8-10 hours of sleep in; there are apps that you can download on your phone to help you get your Z’s in! (see nutritionallyyours.net , vitamin store page and click on our Braintime link) Adrenal fatigue can make you feel like you are not getting enough things done. By writing a checklist of stuff that needs to get done; you will feel like you are accomplishing more when you see it on a list. Fit exercise in even if it is a twenty-minute walk outside, it can help. Take time out for you to enjoy something relaxing, whether it be reading a book, taking a bubble bath, or listening to an album, set a time for yourself on that check list of course!
3. Test For Adrenal Fatigue.
Most people who get their cortisol levels tested via blood either have low, normal or slightly elevated cortisol levels AT the time of the blood draw. Our saliva adrenal fatigue test will look at your coritosl levels FOUR times during the day, not just one. We want to show you how to beat adrenal fatigue and you can find out if you have it by saliva testing! When you perform our Adrenal Fatigue Test you will receive not only the results, but also the interpretation, and a personalized protocol. Now that is how you beat Adrenal Fatigue once and for all!
