The more times you are exposed to an allergen, a chain of reactions occurs in your immune system. The most important of these is the release of a chemical in your body called histamine. Histamine can be present in the nose, sinuses, ears, and throat. It is the production of histamine that produces your environmental allergy symptoms.

Inhalant allergies:  Over 40 million Americans are living with inhalant allergies. Prominent grasses, trees, weeds, including ragweed, plus indoor and outdoor molds have the potential to cause an allergic response. Some allergic reactions may be seasonal. For example, pollen travels the most easily in hot, dry, windy weather, so these conditions can worsen your allergy symptoms. Dust mites, pets, and cockroaches are some of the most common indoor allergy triggers.

Additives, Chemicals Allergy Testing (IgE, IgG): Chemical allergy is a chronic condition affecting different parts of the body and usually occurs in response to a chemical exposure. Chemical sensitivities appear to develop in people who are prone to other types of allergy. They may have a history of asthma, eczema, or hay fever in the past, or genetic predisposition.

Mold Allergy Testing: Yeast and mold belong to the Fungi family. Fungi are living cells that contain proteins that can cause allergies or sensitivities. Fungi, in the air we breathe or the food we eat, constantly surround us. Mold allergy and sensitivity is more prevalent due to our environment and other toxic exposures. People who suffer from allergies may be more sensitive to mold. Other susceptible populations may include asthmatics, children and infants, the elderly, or individuals with existing respiratory conditions or weakened immune systems. One symptom of a yeast allergy is fatigue. Other symptoms are swelling, joint pain, skin eruptions, dizziness, and breathing challenges.
