Leaky Gut, such a strange name but it means exactly what the name says. Leaky Gut Syndrome another word to describe “Hyperpermeable Intestines.” This condition is when the intestinal lining becomes porous; it allows bad stuff to enter into the blood stream such as undigested food particles, toxins, and microbes, which in turn causes a variety of unpleasant symptoms and unwanted health conditions. The intestinal lining should be nice and tight junctions so that all the other unwanted stuff does not get into the blood system.
Leaky Gut is often misdiagnosed, and some clinicians do not believe it exists- oh but it does exist! The biggest issue is that the side effects of Leaky Gut are extensive and not too many people know much about it. Experiencing many food sensitivities could be one of your biggest clues. However, the problem is not the food that you are eating (even if it is healthy food) rather the food particles that are getting into your bloodstream which causes your immune system to fight and thus attack you.
The number one way to tell if you have Leaky Gut is to take a Leaky Gut Stool Test- which is the best and easiest way to find out! If you are experiencing symptoms such as:
Diarrhea and Constipation
Bloating and Gas
Headaches or Brain Fog
Or, if you have conditions such as:
Irritable Bowel Syndrome
All of the above symptoms and conditions could be signs that you have Leaky Gut. What do you do if you find out that you do have Leaky Gut and is there hope? Yes, there is hope, and there are ways to help improve Leaky Gut through nutrition and diet, specific nutritional supplementation, the right probiotics etc. Our Leaky Gut Test measures the intestinal SigA level. A low reading of SigA is an indicator of leaky gut or poor absorption and may indicate that there may be some damage to the bowel lining. Give our test a try, it is a non-invasive test that you can perform in the privacy of your home!
