Did you know that Omega 3 fatty acids are essential to your health and wellness? Omega 3 benefits many things but of particular importance is the value to our cell membrane wall. Think of a circle with a round wall around it (your cell membrane wall). It needs to be flexible yet strong to hold things inside and release them only as your body needs so it can function correctly.
When the cell membrane wall is flexible, your hormones, proteins, vitamins, minerals, fats, etc., can move in and out of the cells properly to go where they are needed.
Think of your heart, omega 3 fatty acids come from our diet or supplementation, and they will be absorbed into the cells in your heart. This makes our cell membranes flexible but firm. Thus the heart and arteries are stronger. But if there are too many trans fats or bad fats, the opposite can occur. Those trans fats are then absorbed into the cell membranes, making them stiff and unable to do their job for you and your heart. Like you do not want stiff joints, and thus you do not want stiff arteries.
On a side note, many times when we do a hair analysis test, the results show high levels of metals. High metals or even high minerals can indicate that the cell membrane wall is too stiff and is holding onto these toxins. So, one of our protocol suggestions will be increasing omega 3.
Omega 3 fatty acids are essential for just about everything.
ADHD, Arthritis, Asthma, Autoimmunity, Cancer, Heart Disease, Chronic Fatigue, Depression, Diabetes, Toxic Metals, Toxicity, ED, Fertility, Immunity, Inflammation, Muscular Degeneration, Metabolic Syndrome, Oxidative Stress, Pain, Peripheral Vascular Disease, MS, Lyme, Psychiatric Disorders
Sources of Omega 3 Fats
Mackerel, Salmon, Cod Liver Oil, Herring, Oysters, Sardines, Anchovies, Caviar, Flaxseeds, Chia Seeds, Walnuts, Soybeans, Brussels Sprouts, Hemp Seed.
I consider omega 3 fatty acids to be so crucial in our daily diet and supplement protocol. It is easy to make sure your omega 3 fats are at optimal levels.
Along with the importance of omega 3 fatty acids is the importance of knowing the level of every nutrient, including fat-soluble vitamins. Our comprehensive vitamin test will let you know what your body is lacking. All test results come with lab analysis and protocol to guide you to the best supplement and diet protocol for you.
Consider our Comprehensive Vitamin and Mineral Test
Consider our Toxic Elements Hair Analysis Test (if toxins are high, it is an indicator that omega 3 fatty acids are low)
