Stool Culture + PCR + Parasitology

The CPP profile is an important tool for identifying imbalances in intestinal microflora. It includes comprehensive bacteriology and yeast cultures to identify the presence of beneficial flora, imbalanced flora including Clostridium species, and dysbiotic flora, as well as detection of infectious pathogens and parasites by PCR and other gold standard methods. Antimicrobial susceptibility testing to prescriptive and natural agents is also performed for appropriate cultured bacterial and fungal species at no additional charge. Parasitology testing can include one-, two- or three-day collection, based on practitioner preference.

This comprehensive stool test provides valuable information. It will give you the answers you want to what is in your gut.

This test covers good and bad bacteria, yeast, viruses, pathogenic bacteria, parasites, protozoa, roundworms, tapeworms and flukes.

Parasites can be the missing link to many chronic health challenges. These can include GI challenges and neurological and metabolic / endocrine. Some parasites can cause the host to feel symptoms of malabsorption even if they are eating a healthy diet. Some people lose weight and others gain weight when there is a parasite.

Parasitic conditions can happen to anyone….. not just people that travel to distant lands or tropical islands. Reasons can include contaminated water, daycare centers, increased travel anywhere, pets, eating uncooked foods like sushi, overuse of antibiotics , buffets, and more,

Common symptoms of a parasite infection can be different for everyone. These can include: loose stools / diarrhea, constipation, bloating, IBS symptoms, anemia, increased food reactions, skin eruptions, anxiety, trouble sleeping, hunger, malabsorption, fatigue, immune challenges…

Yeast in the gut can cause symptoms throughout the body. Studies have linked candida to skin eruptions, bloating, gas, stomach pain, weight gain, chronic fatigue syndrome and more.

Virus’s tested in the stool: Some of the symptoms linked to these maybe fatigue, blood or water stools, constipation, muscle aches, nausea, vomiting, headaches, low grade fever …

Each test result comes with a personalized protocol for you to help you improve the health of your gut and your body.
