A comprehensive stool test is an excellent way to rule out other gut issues and is also a useful tool for detecting GI problems like a pathogen in the gut, related to Crohn’s. For example, stool testing can identify parasites and pins worms that could be causing symptoms and flares. A stool test can also check sigA levels to let you know if you are actually absorbing your nutrients so that you do not suffer malnutrition. It can also detect inflammation indicators that are most likely caused by food intolerance’s that are causing those dreaded symptoms. A stool test will also reveal whether there is an imbalance of good bacteria to help support your good gut health and bad bacteria that could be causing some adverse symptoms.
