Now, I understand that many people are sensitive about having a conversation about their stools. And the thought getting a test kit to perform a stool test may seem strange. But I want to assure you that a stool test can be a major part of determining the overall performance of your digestion and absorption system.
As I said, I believe that “you are what you eat” is very true. But more accurately, the statement should be “you are what you digest and absorb”. So even a person that is eating a profoundly good diet, if they are not absorbing, then all that good food goes to waste..err becomes stool. So a practical idea would be to make sure your dietary practices are really as effective as you think they are. Hence the reason to use a test kit and perform a stool test.
I would also recommend getting a stool test kit for someone who is having any sort of digestive or elimination distress. A stool test can be a very significant part of determining a cause of improper digestion or elimination.
To remain sensitive to this discussion about stools, I am not going into much detail about what we have found. Let’s just say we had a client that had been traveling outside the United States. After returning home, she started to have bouts of diarrhea then constipation then began losing weight. We provided her with a test kit for stool testing. When the results came back, she was shown to have picked-up something from her travels. For this particular infection, the lab was required to notify the CDC which in turn called us to find out how this had gotten into the United States. Her medical doctor initiated the treatment recommended by the CDC. Thankfully, she has made a full recovery and is back to living her life!
We care about you and are here to help you.
