Our goal is to make testing simple, convenient, and informative. Below is an overview of what happens after you place your order.
Step 1: Your Order Is Processed
Most orders are processed within 1–3 business days.
Once your order has been processed, your test kit will be shipped directly to the address provided during checkout.
Please allow approximately 5–7 business days for your test kit to arrive.
Step 2: Follow The Instructions Included With Your Kit
Each test kit includes detailed instructions explaining exactly how to collect your sample.
Collection methods vary depending on the type of testing ordered.
Blood Draw Tests
Examples include:
- Comprehensive Blood Testing
- Micronutrient Testing
- Food Intolerance Testing
- Gluten Intolerance Testing
- MTHFR Testing
- Thyroid Blood Testing
If you ordered a blood draw test, we will mail your test kit and email you a list of collection options in your area.
Depending on your location, you may visit a facility for your blood draw or choose a mobile phlebotomy service that comes directly to your home or office.
Blood draw fees are separate from the cost of testing and typically range from approximately $35–$100.
Some hospitals may also perform blood draws for specialty laboratory kits. Contact your local hospital laboratory directly for availability.
Blood Spot Tests
Examples include:
- Thyroid Blood Spot Testing
Blood spot testing is completed entirely at home using a simple finger-stick sample.
Your kit includes everything needed for collection along with step-by-step instructions.
Simply collect your sample and mail it to the laboratory using the materials provided.
Saliva Tests
Examples include:
- Female Hormone Testing
- Male Hormone Testing
- Hormone & Cortisol Testing
- 4-Point Cortisol + DHEA Testing
Saliva testing is performed entirely at home.
Follow the instructions included with your kit and return your samples to the laboratory using the materials provided.
No blood draw is required.
Urine Tests
Examples include:
- Mold Toxicity & Mycotoxin Testing
Urine testing is completed from the comfort of your home using the materials provided in your kit.
No blood draw is required.
Hair Analysis Tests
- Basic Hair Analysis
- Complete Hair Analysis
Hair analysis requires a small sample of hair collected close to the scalp according to the instructions included in your kit. 1 Tablespoon of hair is needed.
Your sample is then mailed directly to the laboratory for analysis.
No blood draw is required.
Stool Tests
Examples include:
- Comprehensive Stool Analysis
- Comprehensive Stool Analysis + Parasitology
Depending on the test ordered, you may be asked to collect samples over multiple days. You need to refrain from taking probiotics, enzymes, gut health supplements and gut medication (if your PCP is ok with it) 10 days prior and the 3 collection days.
Detailed instructions are included with your kit.
No blood draw is required.
Step 3: Laboratory Processing
Once your sample arrives at the laboratory, testing begins.
Most laboratory results are available within approximately 2–3 weeks, although turnaround times may vary depending on the test ordered.
Basic Hair analysis results are often available within 1–2 weeks.
Step 4: Receive Your Results
Your results will be emailed directly to you with the exception of the Complete Hair Analyis which is mailed.
Most tests also include personalized recommendations designed to help you better understand your findings and identify possible next steps.
Recommendations may include:
- Nutrition guidance
- Dietary suggestions
- Supplement considerations
- Lifestyle recommendations
- Additional testing suggestions when appropriate
